Question 1

How much does a new water well cost?

Accepted Answer

It depends on depth, ground conditions, casing requirements and pump equipment. Shallow wells in soft ground cost less than deep basalt wells. That's why we start with a free estimate — tell us where your property is and we'll give you honest numbers based on nearby wells and local geology.

Question 2

How deep will my well need to be?

Accepted Answer

There's no universal answer — depth varies dramatically even between neighboring properties. We review area well logs and local geology to give you a realistic expectation, but the ground has the final say. We drill to a productive depth and test the yield, rather than promising a number up front.

Question 3

Can you guarantee I'll get water?

Accepted Answer

No honest driller can guarantee water or a specific yield before drilling — anyone who does isn't being straight with you. What we can promise is careful site evaluation, the right technique for your geology, and transparent communication about what we find as we drill.

Question 4

How long does drilling a well take?

Accepted Answer

Many residential wells are drilled in one to three days, depending on depth and formations. Hard basalt, deep targets or difficult access can add time. Pump installation, development and yield testing follow after the hole is complete.

Question 5

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve Southwest Washington — from Vancouver and the I-5 corridor out to rural properties across Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania, Lewis, Wahkiakum and Pacific counties. If you're unsure whether we cover your property, call 564-208-9662 — if we can't help, we'll tell you who can.

Question 6

What is air rotary drilling?

Accepted Answer

Air rotary uses high-pressure compressed air to drive a down-hole hammer and blow rock cuttings up and out of the borehole. It's fast, keeps the hole clean without drilling mud, and excels in the hard rock and basalt common across Southwest Washington — which is why it's our go-to method.

Question 7

Does my well need maintenance?

Accepted Answer

Wells are low-maintenance but not no-maintenance. We recommend periodic water quality testing, keeping the wellhead area clean and sealed, and having the pump system checked if you notice pressure changes, air in lines, or cloudy water.
